Rescue A Dog

A Cause for Paws: Our favorite animal rescue group, but we're a little biased. Lydia co-founded this rescue group with Tony Raimondo. She continues to participate by testing and choosing dogs for rescue at the ACC and providing training and behavior help for dogs awaiting adoption. We respect and admire A Cause for Paws' dedication to responsible placement.

Angelsgate.org: Angel's Gate a residential, non-profit animal hospice and animal rehabilitation center. Special needs animals many of whom are terminally and/or critically ill  or physically   challenged, come to live out their days in peace, dignity and love.

Mayor's Alliance for New York City's Animals: Working with the City of New York toward the day when no NYC dog or cat of reasonable health and temperament is killed merely because he or she doesn't have a home.

Rational Animal: Rational Animal uses the power of media to promote the welfare of New York’s at-risk animals. Whether they are promoting adoptions of homeless animals or developing greater awareness of delicate animal nesting areas, Rational Animal’s team of professionals communicate how people can take part in improving animal welfare in their communities. Click here to see their latest (and humorous) PSAs, one of which features our very own Blue!

They have more than 200 people on the ground doing search-and-rescue and staffing temporary shelters, and have rescued more than a thousand animals in the hardest hit areas of both states since Friday.

BadRap: To support rescue efforts in New Orleans, BadRap, an organization of responsible pitbull lovers, designed a t-shirt. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the LA SPCA so they can continue their rescue efforts and later, their rebuilding efforts.

Pit Bull Rescue Central: Pit Bull Rescue Central is setting up a special fund to aid rescues, shelters and other canine organizations with financial support for the pitbull victims affected by this horrific event.
