We've compiled the ultimate guide in dog toys and chews - with pictures and links to online dog stores where you can buy the perfect dog toy or chew for your dog. We assembled a panel of picky eaters, fetchers, avid chewers, and every dog inbetween to help you make the most of your dog toys and have a little extra cash for a fancy new collar or another training session. Without further ado, here's the Top Ten Toy list of dog toys and chews:
|
1. The Kong
Most of our testers had no interest whatsoever in an empty Kong toy, but they LOVE the Kong stuffed. The beauty of the Kong is how you stuff the Kong. Lizzy & Blue 's favorite Kong recipe:
- Start with a small cube of cheese
- Add a layer of ground beef, garlic, and broccoli
- Alternate small layers of cheese and larger layers of beef mixture
- Top with liverwurst and freeze

2. The Raw Organic Frozen Marrow Bone
Mookie and Charlie 's favorite. Get it from your local organic butcher or order from omaspride.com. It's the most bang for your buck and brings hours of entertainment. We recommend you feed raw to reduce splintering and always supervise your dog with any chew. They are of course very messy so feed them on wood or linoleum floors atop a newspaper or pad.

Pull-Apart-Toy
Could Bacon be any happier with his Pull-A-Part toy?
"Pull-A-Part toys are three toys in one. These toys have three self contained pieces which are meant to be to be pulled apart and put back together over and over again. The main body part has a squeaker and a rattle. The second part is arms that have bungees and squeakers. The third part is a cover to hold it all together." - (as stated on Care-A-Lot)
